Ghana @66: Become integral part of corruption fight – OSP tells all Ghanaians

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has, on the occasion of the 66th Independence Day anniversary, asked all Ghanaians to join the fight against corruption.

The OSP urged all persons to report any suspicious corrupt act for actions to be taken.

In a statement, the OSP said “On the occasion of Independence Day we at the Office of the Special Prosecutor invite everyone to become an integral part of fighting corruption which continues to undermine our democracy, development and Independence.

“We ask for your support. When you spect corruption says something to us.”

Ghana marked the 66th Independence Day celebration today Monday, March 6 at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

Scores of Ghanaians and foreign dignitaries attended the event.

President of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló who is also the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), was the Special Guest of Honour.

The theme for the event will be: ‘Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose’.
