Moroccan Ambassador marks Women’s History month with fashion and food event

Morocco’s Ambassador to Ghana, H.E Imane Ouaadil has marked Women’s History Month with an event to celebrate  Ghanaian women, their Moroccan counterparts, and women around the world.

The event which took place at the residence of the Ambassador was in collaboration with Moroccan fashion designers, Sara Fashion and Burdah ByHajar.

Several Ghanaian names in the entertainment and lifestyle industry including Anita Akuffo, Chris Ukata, Chichi Yakubu, Afua Rida, Wesely Kesse, and Eli Kharis attended the well-curated event.

It was also an opportunity for women in the Moroccan community in Ghana to interact with their local counterparts and other women in the diplomatic community.

H.E Imane Ouaadil who spoke at the event said, the soiree was her unique way of celebrating women in Ghana in love and in style.

She also used the event to pledge her country’s commitment to continue to assist Ghanaian women in various sectors of the economy.
