Asante Kotoko have confirmed the departure of Seydou Zerbo a day after the club dropped out of the top four after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Medeama in Kumasi
The club confirmed the decision on Monday morning via its official Twitter handle.

The Burkinabe trainer was appointed to replace Prosper Narteh Ogum who left the club at the end of last season having led them to clinch their first league title in eight years.
Zerbo’s side have blown hot and cold after taking over and have struggled to prove competent in all the competitions they have participated in.
Their first failure was bowing out of the CAF Champions League in the preliminary stage after losing to Burkinabe side SC Kadiogo before exiting the FA Cup after losing to Aduana Stars last month in Dormaa.
The Ghana Premier League remains the only possible title to achieve for the Porcupines but with Aduana, Accra Lions, Hearts of Oak, Bechem, and Medeama all competing, that would equally be a daunting task given the number of games left and the current situation of the club.
With nine victories, seven draws, and six defeats, Kotoko are currently seventh in the standings with 34 points after 22 matches.
The club have tasked the youth team coach Abdul Gazale to take over on a temporary basis until a substantive one is hired.
His first game would be against Legon Cities in Accra in the 24th round of matches.
